What inspired you to pursue a career in Aesthetics?
As a mom, I wanted to find a career path that I could pursue while still being present for my children. I’ve always been interested in health, wellness, and how the body works. I previously studied dietetics, and as I explored my interests further, skin care and aesthetics felt like a natural next step.
What excites you the most about becoming an Aesthetician?
What excites me most about becoming an aesthetician is the opportunity to build on my passion for health and wellness. I love learning about the body and how different treatments can support skin health and confidence.
Why did you choose NIMA for your education?
I chose NIMA because of its flexible schedule options and the quality of education it provides. I wanted a school that would prepare me for a successful career while also fitting into my responsibilities as a mom.
Which resources or experiences at NIMA have had the biggest impact on helping you achieve your goals?
The variety of schedule options at NIMA has had the biggest impact on my experience. The flexibility allowed me to pursue my education while still being present in my children’s lives. I didn’t have to choose between being there for my kids and investing in my future. NIMA made it possible for me to continue my education while maintaining the balance that was so important to me and my family.
What are your goals after graduating from NIMA?
My goal after graduating from NIMA was to build a career in aesthetics that allowed me to continue being present for my children. Being able to have a fulfilling career while still being an involved mom is very important to me.
