Veronica: From Trapeze Artist to Advanced Aesthetician
What inspired you to pursue a career in Aesthetics?
I’ve been passionate about skin care and anti-aging for as long as I can remember. With a background as a trapeze artist and experience working in hair and makeup, pursuing a career in aesthetics felt like the natural next step in my journey. It’s an exciting new adventure that allows me to combine my creativity, passion for beauty, and interest in skin health.
What excites you the most about becoming an Aesthetician?
Seeing the results my clients achieve! I look forward to helping clients feel confident in their skin and being able to see the positive impact that professional aesthetic treatments can have on their confidence and well-being.
Why did you choose NIMA for your education?
My cousin has been an advanced aesthetician for 10 years, and when I told her I was interested in pursuing my education in aesthetics, she immediately recommended NIMA. She even said she wished NIMA had been available when she received her education. Its strong reputation and credibility within the professional aesthetics industry made NIMA an obvious choice for me.
Which resources or experiences at NIMA have had the biggest impact on helping you achieve your goals?
The flexible schedule options at NIMA have made a significant impact on my ability to pursue my education. I’m able to attend school while still balancing work and my other responsibilities, making it possible for me to further my career without putting the rest of my life on hold.
What are your goals after graduating from NIMA?
My goal after graduating is to begin my career in the aesthetics industry, ideally working in either a luxury hotel spa or a medical spa. I’m excited to build my skills and experience while providing clients with high-quality, professional care.
