Advertising, Cookies, and Analytics

We use cookies, pixels, tags, software development kits, and similar technologies, including those provided by Google and Meta, to operate our website, understand how it is used, measure the performance of our marketing, and advertise our programs.

Google. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads services, which may include remarketing, conversion tracking, and enhanced conversions. Google and other third-party vendors use cookies to show our ads to people who have visited our website, and they may use that information to serve ads across the internet. We may share a hashed (encrypted) email address that you submit to us with Google to measure and improve our ads and to build audiences. Learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com and of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Meta (Facebook and Instagram). We use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API to measure the results of our ads, build audiences, and show our ads on Facebook, Instagram, and other Meta products. These tools receive information about your interactions with our site and ads, and we may share a hashed email address that you submit to us. Meta uses this information in accordance with its own privacy policy. You can manage your ad preferences at facebook.com/ads/preferences.

Conversion events. We may report limited, non-sensitive events to advertising platforms, such as submitting an inquiry, scheduling a tour, applying, or enrolling, so that we can measure and improve our ads. We do not send these platforms your academic records, grades, attendance, financial aid or financing information, or other education records.

Your choices. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at aboutads.info/choices and optout.networkadvertising.org. Opting out does not stop ads from appearing, but they will be less relevant to you. To request that we stop sharing your information for targeted advertising, contact us at info@nima.edu or 844.481.1595.
